Cookie policy
How ClaimCart uses sign-in cookies, browser drafts, preferences, traffic measurement, and embedded services.
Effective September 5, 2026
1. Essential sign-in cookie
ClaimCart uses an HTTP-only session cookie to keep merchants signed in securely. It uses SameSite protections and the Secure flag over HTTPS. Because this cookie is necessary for the requested account service, disabling it prevents merchant login.
2. Browser storage
We use session storage for short-lived dashboard product and order caches, and local storage for interface preferences and same-browser update signals. Studio uses IndexedDB for source media, edits, captions, product selections, and reusable images/logos, including demo drafts. They stay on the device and do not sync. First-party traffic measurement uses a random session identifier, page paths, referral origins, and campaign labels; signed checkout tokens are excluded. ClaimCart does not use this information to build advertising profiles.
3. Checkout and billing
Signed buyer checkout and order links use cryptographic URL tokens rather than an advertising cookie. ClaimCart software purchases are provided through Paddle, which may use necessary security, fraud-prevention, and checkout storage under its own notices when its checkout is opened. A merchant-selected external payment provider may likewise set its own necessary technologies on its site.
Embedded content
The homepage walkthrough loads a YouTube player. YouTube may receive your IP address and browser information and use storage under its own policies. External checkout and linked services have their own privacy notices.
4. Your controls
You can clear ClaimCart site data in your browser. Signing out removes the active session but does not erase Studio drafts or saved images. Clear ClaimCart site data on every browser/device to remove local copies; this also removes preferences and may sign you out. Storage restrictions can prevent draft saving.
