Manual Payment Verification for Global Instagram Sellers
How sellers can publish country-specific bank, wallet, and transfer instructions while keeping buyer proof and order records organized.
Manual Payment Verification for Global Instagram Sellers
Payment behavior is local. One merchant may use bank transfer, another may use PayPal, bKash, Nagad, Cash App, or a country-specific wallet. A global commerce tool should not pretend that one gateway fits every seller.
Separate software billing from merchandise payments
ClaimCart uses Paddle only to sell access to ClaimCart software. Payments for a merchant’s physical products happen directly between that merchant and the buyer. ClaimCart never receives, routes, splits, or settles those merchandise funds.
A safer manual-payment flow
- The seller lists supported payment methods and clear account instructions in settings.
- After an order is confirmed, the buyer sees the same immutable instructions in the order link and receives them in the Instagram conversation.
- The buyer enters a payment reference and can upload private proof.
- The seller reviews the proof and confirms or rejects it.
- Once confirmed, the buyer can download the order invoice and continue using the link for shipping updates.
Never ask buyers to submit a full card number, PIN, password, or one-time verification code. Payment proof should be private, size-limited, retained only as long as needed, and available only to the correct merchant and buyer order flow.
Manual verification is not instant settlement, but it can still be structured, auditable, and much easier than searching through screenshots in DMs.
